The Homecoming

An investigation of recycled footage into the relationship between humans and nature

Doxy

In his 30-year career as a documentary filmmaker, Jos de Putter has travelled hundreds of thousands of kilometres, placing a heavy burden on the planet. For The Homecoming, he stayed home to use existing footage to shape the disturbed relationship between man and nature.
Around the world, local initiatives are trying to stop the destruction. Religious philosopher Karen Armstrong shares her observations. She thinks we need to change not only our lifestyle but also our faith: we need to see nature as something sacred again. Because the distress signals are too serious to ignore.

The Homecoming is part of a documentary series on the Ten Commandments, made by DOXY Films and EOdocs.

De Thuiskomst maakt deel uit van een documentaireserie over de Tien Geboden, gemaakt door DOXY Films en EOdocs.
