Max has spent 14 years locked up in a TBS clinic and now that he is free, he wants to know why he was locked up for so long.

Max, now 34, was convicted of a sex crime when he was 17. Max, who denied from the first interrogation, ended up in several TBS clinics, where he peremptorily refused any treatment. He would eventually spend 14 years in prison. Now Max is free but the traumatic time behind him prevents him from still making his way in society. How is it possible that he was detained for so long? Is the TBS system even equipped for unruly boys like him? In Max, a Life in TBS, he goes in search of answers. Is there such a thing as reparation in his situation and will Max be able to pick up his life again?
